SKin79 BB Cream Review

A big disappointment for me.  Since it only comes in one shade, it does not work with a lot of skin tones.  When I put it on, it made me look pale and had a greysih tint to it.  Even though, the BB Cream does oxidize, it still did not match my skin tone and I am on the lighter side.  For the lucky ones, that this BB Cream does match, you get a lot of product in that pretty little pink bottle for about $15.

Circle Lens Review - Seeshell Cosmo Grey & Hazel

I don't recommend the Seeshell Cosmo Grey & Hazel.  Well, atleast for me they were very uncomfortable and I could not wear them for more than an hour.  My vision was constantly blurry with these lenses on and they irritated my eyes A LOT.  It's too bad because they don't look that bad on and the Grey ones actually look more blue.

Forever21 Mini? Haul

Forever21
Horse Print Open/Swing Jacket - $17.80
Black Knit Kimono Sweater w/Metallic Silver Threading - $19.80
Red Denim Pants - $19.50
Antique Brass/Gold Bullet Necklace (Similiar) - $5.80
Red Beaded Layer Necklace - $7.80
Black Metal Doily Necklace - $4.80
Nail Polish - $2.80
The "horse" jacket looks shapeless on the hanger, but it's very cute.
This is a classic kimono knit sweater and it's perfect for going out b/c it has metallic, silver threading sewn throughout.  It's very minimal, but adds that extra jazz.
 Red Denims!  Perfect for Fall!
This is the Rocker Girl in me.  Gonna try to pull it off!
Been eyeing this for a while and finally decided to purchase it.

Black "Doily" Necklace.  It's a great statement piece.
In LOVE with this nail polish.  The glitter is tiny tiny - it's gorgeous!  It matches my glitter flats!

Baby Oil Gel

In a previous post, I mentioned that I use Olive Oil as a facial moisturizer.  The Olive Oil does its job, but sometimes (especially Winters), I need a little more moisture.  I use Johnson & Johnson's Baby Oil Gel with Lavender.  It is greasy and I only use it at night on my face, but it's a great moisturizer - not only for your face, but your body too!  They also have different kinds, Original, Lavender, Aloe, and Shea and Cocoa Butter.  Each one is about $3.00 at your local drugstore.

TJMaxx Dresses

Bought 2 dresses from the clearance rack at TJMaxx a few days ago.  The red one was $12 and the blue one was $16.  The fabric for both dresses are super lightweight, so I really need to layer and "winterize" the dresses for the Chicago weather.  Actually, I could've worn them today, the high was 68 degrees!!  Whhhhhat?!?!

Nails!

Wet-n-Wild Craze Nail Color in 231 Shield/Bouclier.  It's a great bronze/gold metallic color and from the pictures, you can see how the color changes in different lights.

Circle Lens Review - Hana SPC Hyper Circle Brown

These lenses were a big seller in 2010 on http://www.pinkyparadise.com/.  If you are looking for the dolly-eyed look, this one is for you.  It definitely enlarges the iris while appearing natural if you have dark brown eyes.  I found them to be too large for my taste especially since I wear circle lenses everyday, but they are cute for a night out or if you want your eyes to pop.  They also are very comfortable to wear.

Plato's Closet

Stopped by Plato's Closet to see what I could get for some clothes I don't wear anymore.  Looked around as they inspected my items and I found 2 really cute sweater vests - $6.00 each!  The first one is a longer, black, shawl-like, ribbed-knit one that has a racerback.  It's shorter in the front and longer in the back.  Pictures never do justice, but it's super cute and versatile.  The second one is cobalt and black in color and it definitely has a weird shape, but I had an idea on how to fix it, so I bought it.  I stopped by Hancock Fabrics and picked up a yard of 1" black grosgrain ribbon and 2 brushed gold buttons for about $3.00.  You can see what I did in the picture below.  It looks so much better now when I put it on.

Happy Halloween!!!

Bronzers

I wear bronzer 365 days of the year, so, I wanted to share with you which bronzers I use and love.  I use 2 different ones depending on the situation.  My skin tone is light/medium...  The first is VSMakeup (Victoria's Secret) Baked Bronzer in Sun Goddess.  They don't carry this year round and they seem to change it up slightly everytime a new line comes out, but it always does it's job (just make sure it's the VSMakeup line).  This is a bit darker on me and has more sheen, so I like to use this more for night time or when I want to look more made up.  The other is Physician's Formula Baked Bronzer in Baked Tan.  This is great for everyday wear.  It has a nice neutral "tan" color, and the perfect amount of shimmer.  If you don't like shimmer, these are not for you.  Also, both bronzers are very affordable.  Both are about $12.00 and they last a long time.  You can find the VSMakeup at any Victoria's Secret that carries Beauty in the store and Physician's Formula is at any local drugstore, Target, Wal-Mart, Ulta, etc...

Heritage 1981

I never really paid attention to the Heritage 1981 line at Forever21, but I actually like it (a lot)!  I'm fortunate enough to live in a big city where they have an endless amount of shopping/stores.  It was my first time entering the stand alone, Heritage 1981 store at Woodfield Mall.  I wanted to buy lots and lots, but I'm contained myself and only bought the following:  a cute purple dress (an awesome purple, I must say - $18.90), a peach/navy blouse (with beautiful detailing - $18.90) , and a white knit snood aka infinity scarf ($8.50).
The above picture doesn't do justice for the color.  The below picture is the actual color.  Isn't it beautiful?!
This snood/scarf is super, super white in color.  It's vibrant and has thin, silver metallic thread running throughout it.  It's the perfect amount of metallic.  I can't wait to wear it once it get a little colder, which is probably soon.
